     Induction heating 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe manufacturing method:

     Pipe three-layer PE anti-corrosion structure: the first layer of epoxy powder ( FBE > 100um ), the second layer of adhesive ( AD ) 170 ~ 250um, the third layer of polyethylene ( PE ) 2.5 ~ 3.7mm . The three materials are integrated and firmly combined with the steel tube to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer.     The anti-corrosion layer is crucial for the life of the buried pipeline. The pipes of the same material, some buried in the ground for decades, do not corrode, and some years have leaked. It is because they use different outer coatings. The protective layer of polyethylene three-layer structure, also known as three-layer PE (3PE) , is an advanced anti-corrosion technology introduced from abroad in recent years. Its full name is a fusion bonded epoxy / extruded polyethylene structural layer, and the structure consists of the following three layers:

    The bottom layer is a fusion bonded epoxy ( ¡Ý 80 ¦Ìm ); the middle layer is an adhesive (170 ¡ª 250 ¦Ìm ); the top layer is extruded polyethylene ( about 2 mm) . The total thickness of the protective layer is about 1.8-3.7mm . In the three-layer structure, the main function of the sintered epoxy powder coating is to form a continuous coating film, which is directly bonded to the surface of the steel pipe, has good chemical resistance and cathodic disbonding resistance; The reactive groups react to form a chemical bond, which ensures that the overall coating has good adhesion at higher temperatures. The intermediate layer is usually a copolymer binder whose main component is polyolefin. Currently, a vinyl copolymer adhesive is widely used. The polar moiety functional group of the copolymer adhesive reacts with the epoxy group coated with the epoxy powder to form a hydrogen bond or a chemical bond, so that the intermediate layer forms a good bond with the underlayer; the non-polar ethylene portion and the surface layer Polyethylene has a good affinity, so the middle layer and the top layer also have good bonding properties. The main function of the polyethylene surface layer is to provide mechanical protection and corrosion protection, and has the same effect as the traditional two-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion layer.

    The three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion layer (3PE) combines the excellent properties of two kinds of anti-corrosion coatings, such as sintered epoxy powder coating and extruded polyethylene, and combines the interface characteristics and chemical resistance of the sintered epoxy powder coating with the extrusion. The combination of the mechanical protection characteristics of the polyethylene anti-corrosion layer significantly improves the respective performance. Therefore, it is very advantageous as an outer protective layer of a buried pipeline. According to relevant information, the three-layer PE can make the life of buried pipelines reach 50 years. At present, it is considered as the most advanced external anti-corrosion technology in the world. In China, three-layer PE has been the first to be applied in oil and gas systems. China has built the Shaanxi-Beijing natural gas pipeline and Ku-Shan oil pipeline, recent national key project of nearly 4000 km west-east gas pipeline are used outside the three-tier PE anti-corrosion coating. In Tianjin, the 67- kilometer high-pressure pipeline of Shaanxi Gas Jinjin , the 30- kilometer high-pressure natural gas pipeline of the outer ring line, and the 122 km pipeline of the underground gas storage of the Shaanxi-Beijing line are also three-layer PE . It has become the development direction of the outer anti-corrosion layer in the future.

Thereby significantly improving their respective performance. Its characteristics : high mechanical strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, can be applied to 150 degrees medium, and adapt to the cold zone. Therefore, the 3PE anti-corrosion layer is an ideal buried pipeline outer protective layer. According to the authority's inspection, the buried pipeline with 3PE anti-corrosion technology can last for 50 years.

     

    2PE corrosion (Polyethylene Layer) Layer PE anticorrosion pipe structure, a first adhesive layer (AD), a second layer of polyethylene (PE), two kinds of integrated material, the thickness of layers with the same three-PE.

     

    The difference is that: 3PE anti-corrosion has an epoxy powder layer, and the epoxy powder has good corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and strong anti-cathode peeling, although it has strict surface treatment, poor weather resistance and high water absorption. However, it is suitable for buried pipeline submarine pipelines, with a coating thickness of only 0.3 to 0.5 mm and a service life of 40 to 50 years.
